1. The Contract
The contract is made between the Visitor and the Owner of the property for which the booking is made. The acceptance of a booking from a Visitor creates a Contract between themselves and the Owner of the property. Once the completed Booking Form and Deposit have been received, the booking is then secure.
2. Payment and Deposit
A Deposit of 20% is payable with your booking.
There are 2 ways in which you can pay: Cheques, (*UK Residents only), should be made payable to Barbara Williams; or you can pay by Secure Credit Card Payment.
Having completed the Booking Form and paid the deposit, confirmation of the booking will be forwarded by return of post. The outstanding balance is payable 4 weeks before your holiday commences.
3. Cancellation of Your Holiday
Once the Deposit has been paid and accepted by the Owner, Visitors are normally liable for all the charges of the holiday as a binding contract has been deemed to have been made between the Visitor and the Owner. However, every effort will be made by the Owner to re-sell the booking, but if this is not possible, the deposit cannot be refunded.
Cancellation must be made in writing and will be effective from the date the written cancellation is received by the Owner.
4. Arrival and Departure Times (Saturday to Saturday)
Visitors should arrive no earlier than 3 pm, (1500), and must vacate the holiday letting by 10 am, (1000), at the latest.
5. Keys/Access Arrangements
Details will be forwarded to the Visitor, together with the receipt, once the full rental payment has been received.
On the day of departure, the keys must be returned to the Owner before leaving the Island.
6. Personal Property
No responsibility can be accepted for the loss or damage to any vehicle or it's contents, whilst parked at the Owners property. Baggage and personal belongings are at the Visitor's risk at all times.
7. Care of the Rental Property
Whilst hiring the property all Visitors are expected to take all reasonable care of it. At the end of the hire, the property and its equipment must be left clean and tidy. Damages and breakages must be reported to the Owner without delay, in order that the cost of replacing items is settled fairly and amicably.
